I want smoother lips.
Since I rarely drink enough water my lips tend to be dry, especially during the cold winter season. So, I wanted a product that I could have in my pocket that would keeep my lips smooth. So, when I went to the store the other day I picked up this:
It's a lipbalm from Nivea that fits snuggly in your pocket. So, what's so special about it? Well, it's the fact that it's kind of like a lipgloss and a lipbalm in one. It colours your lips slightly pink-ish and gives them a bit of a gloss - like lipgloss, but not as much as lipgloss so that you can wear this without makeup and not look weird.
I will try it out for a few days to see if it will help my lips any and then give a review on it :)
But for now I'm going to get ready to go see camilla ^-^

One month weigh in!
So now it's been one month since I started dieting (actually, this is a little late update, it was a month last week, but you know, better late than ever or whatever haha!) so I thought I'd update you on the happenings.
I pretty much forgot about the one month update since, well, time's been going petty quickly - I can't believe I've already been dieting a month! It hasn't been too much of a hassle really, laregly due to th fact that I get to eat whatever I want once a week - something that gives me a tiny goal every week (only three days more 'til you can eat that piece of chocolate!) and a day to eat those thing I've been craving.
First of all my cravings have gone down (as long as i don't eat too little calories one day, it has happened once or twice and the next day I'm constantly hungry and in need of sugar, so I really try to avoid eating too little) and second of all I'm healthy even though pretty much everyone I know is sick (there's a stomach flu AND a regular flu going around at the same time), so that's good.
Of course, there's also results in my measurements, weight and percentages. Let's make a cute little list.
In One month I've:
♥ Lost 3,1kg on the scale
♥ Lost 1,4% fat
♥ Lost 1,5cm of my waist
♥ Lost 1cm of my "belly".
♥ Gained a whole 1% of muscle(!)
♥ Gained 2% water. (Now this is positive because when I first stood on the scale I had way too little water percentage in my body and slowly I've been drinking more and more water and my water percentage has risen as well)
Naturally when you diet the first few weeks the weight will drop off you faster, so from now on I expect my weight loss to be a bit slower (I've already noticed it slowing a bit compared to the first few weeks) .
Either way I'm well on my way and already close to my first goal of loosing 5kg :) Booyah!

Pictures of Tokyo Bay by night
Putting up the archive photo of me and Robert by the Tokyo Bay made me kind of reminiscent.
Tokyo Bay was pretty by day but GORGEOUS by night.
Those are three pictures I took of Tokyo bay by night when we were there last summer. I miss it so much, this beautiful city with it's super cute and nice people, great food, wonderful fashion and inventive (crazy?) inventions and tv-shows!
I have to go back there someday <3

Happy valentine's everyone!!
Today it's valentines day! The day specified for us forgetful people to give some extra special thoughts to your loved ones and show them!
Unfortunately, I can't celebrate with my love today since I'm in Örebro studying for tomorrows seminar and Robert is in Stockholm studying for his exam!
Really sucks!! Of course, we will still celebrate valentines some other day (probably this or next weekend), after all when it comes to showing your love and just doing something nice together the day doesn't matter! But I still wish I could celebrate it today because I really miss my sweetie :)
A bit of a shaky archive photo of me and robert right by the Tokyo bay last year - showing our love.

Vaccination is expensive!
so today I looked through the necessary vaccinations me and robert will need to get before our backpacking trip through Asia. South east Asia is apparently pretty disease infested (probably because of the poor hygiene) so we have to get a few of them shots.
Unfortunately vaccination is NOT cheap.
It will be at least 2-3000kr (about 300-450dollars) for all of the shots I'll need (it will be cheaper for robert since he's aready taken some of the shots earlier).
Yish! Now, It might get cheaper, I haven't talked to a doctor yet to see which shots I need for our trip, but even so it will definitely be costly!

1. Let your mother or someone else bake the delicious cake.
2. Whip up some cream and add some vanilla or vanilln powder for the taste and put it on the cake.
3. Add candies and fancy writing in chocolate sauce

Fighting and chillaxing
After class I went for the Bodycombat class again. It's still as tough, but I think I'm starting to get the technique a bit better which is really good for my back as the wrong technique that I had last week really strained my back. But now, I'm starting to get it so hopefully I won't have the terrible back ache that I got last week (it was well masked buy the muscle aches from the workout though!).
It feels really good to start the week with a tough workout, almost like a kickstart (litterally!). So I think I'm going to keep doing it. Tomorrow I will see how bad my muscle ache is, and then decide if I will go to the bodybalance or not. I don't think it will be problem this week, so I'm planning for a nice workout tomorrow as well.
But you can't only workout, you have to take care of your skin as well! To relax after the start of the work out week I decided to treat myself to a facial.
Wish I could smile on the photo (I actually tried) but the mask makes it kind o impossible. Must be the way it feels to have a botoxed face!!
So now, my body has worked hard and is relaxed and my skin is all smooth and refreshed - I'm going to sleep well tonight :)

The best travel digital camera
Last year when me and robert went to japan for three weeks I had my nikon D300 camera with me, my huge DSLR. It's heavy and a hassle to bring with you, especially when it's as hot as in asia.
This time, I'm thinking better of bringing that camera with me - it wasn't fit for the big city when we could put away our baggage in a hostel room, so it won't be suitable for the backpacking trip when we'll be constantly on the move either.
But, I still want to take pictures. I wold hate it if I couldn't take pictures of this wonderful trip we're making! Memories fade, but pictures can refreshen them. Plus, it's fun to photograph.
So, I need a camera. My iphone 4 camera is what I usually use for the blog since I'm too lazy to carry around the nikon, but it's not a good camera at all - I'm not fooling myself. So I've been thinking for a while that I should get a new phone with a better camera on, but there's still no great phone camera in sight so I put that idea aside. The only solution then is to buy a new camera - a camera that can take great pictures, can film as well, is light and easy to carry around, and not too big. In other words - a digital camera.
So, I started looking online for the best digital camera around in my price-range. And finally, I think I've found the digital travel camera of my dreams!

A Sony cybershot DSC-HX20V! It's a slightly larger digital camera than normal but it's still small enough to fit in your pocket, it weighs no more than 250g and takes very good quality photos. It can zoom up 40x! (though it is a 20x optical zoom with a digital up to 40), take macro pictures from 1cm distance, takes good pictures in poorly lit environments and has a great ISO and blender range, a special setting to fix backlight problems (when the front becomes all black when the lighting comes from the back) as well as different scene selections, two(!) automatic settings and a full manual mode.
Oh and it's not only a camera, it's also a full HD film camera. (it also has other functions like GPS and what not, but you know, I can't mention it all for full specifications click here)
In other words a really good digital camera in a small package that would be perfect for the trip I'm planning to make!
Might be a great wish for my birthday in april ;)
