Anyway, yesterday when I was studying I listened a lot to this new song by Emblem 3 <3 They're super cute and so talented and this is their first single release since they got signed after the x factor.

The baddest female

So as you all already know I really like J and K-pop K-pop especially has been really good for a few years now. In the midst of all this 2NE1 is one of my favourite groups and from time to time the groups members make their own solo tunes.

This time it's the group leader CL's turn.



As per usual I prefer when the group is together as their different styles come together in a really nice mix. But out of all the solo's I think this is unfortunately my least favourite. It's not really bad, in fact it's actually pretty addictive (I might start listening to it on repeat despite my better judgement haha) but it's in pretty pure hiphop rap style, no RnB or real tune I think. And I've always had a hard time with rap, it's hard for me to like.

But I gotta say I love the video as always. She's super pretty and has this swag, charm and the dancemoves! :)

But enough about me ;)

Right before my trip to dublin I found a new song that's been blasting in my headphones all through the trip, and still I'm not sick of it!

Video of the day - the new Gangnam style

This saturday on my birthday Psy - the guy behind the super popular gangnam style - came out with a new song called Gentleman, and a hillarious video to accompany it. Since saturday it has already accumulated almost 63 million views!

The craze is still on haha!









Personally I like the song a lot. It might not be as good as gangnam style, but it is just as addicting.

DIY overnight haircurlers - Video of the day

As you already now by now as I have been constantly mentioning it - my hair is finally getting better after years of coloring and bleaching (You know what? Maybe I have some old pictures to show you in my archive somewhere... But that will have to wait for now) and so I've been thinking that now maybe I can finally DO STUFF with my hair. Like curl it. I LOVE curly hair but it's been almost impossible to curl my hair in the rubber-like condition it was in before.

But now that my hair is getting better I also don't want to ruin it by using heat curlers (i e. curling irons and such) so, I started looking into non-heat curling methods a while back. I found a method i liked and bought a few pairs of a certain curling product on ebay ( I ordered them the other day so I will show you when they arrive)

But then, today I went on to youtube for some reason and found this on my wall:




It's from the beautiful and talented DIY-tuber SecretLifeOfaBioNerd. She is absolutey awesome and she's obviously at my youtube wall when I log in because I am subscribing to her channel! Either way it's DIY hair curlers! And they seem pretty cool!! Maybe I should have tried this, after all I have a shitload of wash-sponges haha! But for now I'm going to see if the thingies I bought works, otherwise I will definitely try this! //Wayu

Lately Ellie Goulding's music has been stuck in my head. So I've been stuck with her songs "lights", "anything could happen" and "figure 8" in my head.

Not a big problem really, they're really good. But I have not heard of her before, so I thought maybe, some of you haven't either. If so, you should start listening and get them stuck in your head too ;)

Emblem3 ♥

If you follow me you might have noticed that I have mentioned a few times that me and Robert have been watching the second season of x factor (the american version), now, we're finally done and though many were good I got really stuck on the gorgeous Emblem3 ♥ They have such a unique and sexy sound (not to mention they look pretty darn good too). After the show they got signed, so now, I'm just waiting for their first album <3 As it is right now, I'm stalking their youtube channel and re-listening to the songs they have made together so far. 

So for all of you Emblem3 fans and to-be fans I give you their latest song that have hooked me good.

The End of the World

Lately everyone's been talking about the end of the Mayan calender - something some crazy person decided means the end of the world. I have not been preparing for the supposed end of the world, in fact if the world ends tomorrow I will have spent my last days studying for an exam. Almost to the point of frustration and boredom that I might even start thinking the end of the world might not be so bad after all if I don't have to do the exam ;) It's the last exam before Christmas and I am SERIOUSLY in need of some rest and family time <3 I haven't met my bf in two weeks now and it sucks, even more so since he will be in Dublin for three months next semester!

Time feels like it's been eluding me lately - I feel like the studying time has not been enough, the playing time has been sparse and the time for christmas preparations and baking have so not been enough. And since I've been in Örebro the last two weeks the time with my family, friends and boyfriend have been non-existent. The lack of baking has been bothering me especially since I had planned on making at last three kinds of pralines and Knäck, but I have only managed to make two kinds of knäck and one praline flavor. Even so, when I have been baking (and even when I haven't) there's been a special song stuck in my head! It's called Chocolate Love and I first heard it by a group called f(x) - a korean pop-group that's really good! Then when I started searching around a little bit on youtube, I found not only f(x) had made a version of the song, but also probably the most famous womens k-pop group - Girls' generation (also called SNSD). I found a video with both of the versions in one and of course, I'm sharing :)


Which one is the better version? For me it was hard since I had heard the f(x) version first, and then the girls' generation version just sounded slow... but after a few listenings I've started to love both versions! They're very different,  yet both are so good. :)

I gotta go back to studying now, and we'll just see if we will live through tomorrow or not ;)

Dumb ways to die

Today's song of the day is a funny commercial for train rail safety - believe it or not!


It's absolutely wonderfully cute and funny song, while still bizarre enough that you get the message! It's such an awesome commercial, you have to love it! It's also such a catchy tunes that I'll probably go around singing about dumb ways to die for days, haha :)

Song of the day

The Korean wave has finally reached Sweden! Recently, Gangnam Style have been played everywhere!, even on the Swedish radio! Something that really surprised me when I heard it on the radio about a month ago! I was really happy and sang along while my family, wondered what song it was what language he was singing in! I was of course extremely happy thar stuff I listen to is actually played on the radio (I like Swedish and English songs as well, but my Asian preferences usually don't play on the radio, so it was special)

Then I noticed that a new nightclub would open up in Stockholm that would only play Kpop, I really wanted to go, but unfortunately it was the weekend before an exam so I didn't have time for anything but studying! However, it seems that Kpop Nonstop (which the club is named) will kick off again in November so I hope I can go then! : D It would be really really fun! : D


So anyway, in the spirit of the Korean wave I give you a Korean song by Hyuna which always makes me happy ^ - ^
