The cutest way to protect your phone

I bought myself an iphone cover when I was in japan last year, unfortunately I've managed to loose the magnet that pretty much holds the thing together. And then, my phone broke the other day, so I kind of think that it might have somethig to to with that the cover is not as good anymore as it used to be - and therefore I thought, why not get a new one?

So without further ado I checked differet sites for iphone covers and found these three on ebay:

I really like the diary type cover opening which fits me who wants to be an author ;) Also I  think it's steadier than my curent flip cover that flips open from the top. So, I only decided to go with diary type flip covers and these three were the cutest.

I think I'm leaning towards the last one though, but I'm not entirely sure yet.

Yesterday evening

Yesterday I was out with mom, dad and one of my brothers just walking around town. We went into an asian store to try and find some misopaste for me but they only had small containers and I wanted a large one, so I didn't buy any. Instead we bought some asian snacks and japanese mochi to try out.

It tasted awful by the way. or well, the taset was fine, but the texture of the rice-dough is like rubber - so in the end none of us liked it. Then we went out to an italian restuarant called Pompei to east delicious pasta.

I ate a huge portion of fettuccine a'la cesare - basically taglitelle pasta with chicken, bacon and cream and tomato sauce. It was absolutely delicious so I think I will return to pompei someday :)

Cinnamon bun(ny) pile!

No there's no bunny. I just felt like it. But there are A LOT of cinnamon buns on the table at the moment just resting in the sunlight fromt he window.

We've been baking (mostly mom though) for a while now and they are finally done!  Looks delicious doesn't it? ;)

a HUGE easter gift

So this is what I bought for my family yesterday  it's a HUGE easter egg that we will try to fill up with candy. It will be impossible, but we can try haha!

Maybe it's hard to see how big it is.. but yah it takes up like half the table and can probably contain a some liters of candy...

Our teeth will rott after this weekend hehe.

Midnight sushi

I just got home after work with a huge present (I'll show it to you tomorrow with better lighting, it's so dark now) for my family, in in turn they had bought me sushi from sushi kimama! It's such a great sushi place - they make really delicious sushi - especially the rolls!

I don't have much to tell you atm actually, I'm pretty tired, so I guess I'll go eat my sushi and then go to bed ;)

Taking shots

I just got myself the second Hepatitus A+B shot for the trip.  It's the last shot before the trip (yaaay!) now I only have to take the third and final booster shot when I get back from the trip - then I'll be protected from hepatitus A and B for 30 years! Pretty great vaccine no?
I really can't wait for the trip, now I only need some malaria pills and maybe a kolera vaccine (you drink it, so no more shots, but I'm kind of scared thinking of the taste of a drinkable vaccine - it MUST be bad right?) and then I'm all good to go!

But now I'm going to work for a few hours to earn some cash haha!

Spring is coming!

Hello everyone :) Just wanted to log on and say hi.  It's a beautiful day outside and the sun is shining. It's a few degrees outside so it's still cold, but it's slowly getting warmer.

But you feel the spring in the air.

It's nice to see because when spring arrives, so does my birthday - and it's not far away now. I realize I have to start planning it so that people have time to put it in their calendars. Yes, ME planning ahead! I'm certainly growing up - in fact planning ahead is not nearly as hard as it was just a year or two ago. I'm not entirely sure about whether I'm joyous or not about it though haha!

But for now I'm just going to enjoy the weather - and start looking at some new spring and summer clothing.

Kawaii shoes for summer

Summer still seems far away here in cold cold Sweden, so every little minute of sunshine here makes us dream of summer. For me I'm dreaming myself away to south east easia, sandy beaches, sun and adventure. The bad thing about it is that I won't be able to dress prettily when there - I can't bring much clothing or buy any even though I will be in the part of the world where all the cute clothing exists.

So instead, I'm drooling over some pretty shoes I found on ebay.

Ah, even though I won't be able to wear anything even moderately fun over there I still want to go now! I want sun, I want summer, I want to wear a bikini and bathe in the sea!

Summer get here already!

Pimp-a-soup

When I'm lazy, I like to take simple cup-a-soup (you know those "just add water" powder soups?) and then add some filling to make it good. And well, today's lunch is one of those pimp-a-soups. It's asparagus soup with some ham and mixed vegetables.

Can you say fast, simple and delish?

Or you can just call lazy. It's up to you ;)

Waiting for my phone

So the other day I broke the screen on my iphone, and I also got it fixed the day afterwards. The problem was that when I got home I started noticing spots on the screen that kind of looked like glue stains on the inside of the glass and when you pressed in certain places on the screen it would start to flimmer. Now, I know i got it fixed very cheap, but even so it shouldn't be done poorly - I still paid for it! And so, I went back there today, and they said they would redo it.

So, I sat down and waited in the park for a half hour and when I got back - it still wasn't done well.
So I told them to redo it again. And they did. And it still wasn't done well. This went on all day and finally at their fifth try it was done well, by then it was already late so I just got on the train back to Örebro. In other words, I spent my entire day just waiting for my phone and having to battle for it to be done well.

At least it's done now so I don't have to go back there :p

Cakes and presents

Today my entire family is at my parents place to celebrate mom and Dad's birthday. They both have their birthday's in March but we've all been pretty busy so this was the only weekend we all could meet up in march, and so we're celebrating both of them today.

First up is something absolutely delicious that I haven't eaten in such a long time - Pizza!

Plane tickets ordered!

Finally we've ordered all the plain tickets needed for the trip! (actually we ordered them about a month ago, but you know I forgot to tell you since so much other stuff happened, so yah, here it is)

It's actually done, meaning no backsies now! We ARE going to asia in june!!

As you can see it will be a LONG trip... 24 hours and 20 minutes from sweden to our first destination - Yangon in Myanmar(Burma).

I can't wait!!

Silky smooth salon hair

I'm back from the salon and so i now i have silky smooth beautiful hair, only about 5cm shorter and finally my hair is all healthy again except for a few patches of tips on my left side that we will get rid of next visit. That means finally being able to start growing out beautiful healthy hair! I probably never had that!

And not only is my hair smooth and shiny i've also got my broken front on the iphone fixed! So right now all is well in my little la la land ;)

Shattered to pieces

Yesterday i got home and had a nice evening with my family, watching the utterly boring football(no, it's not called soccer americans) match between sweden and ireland. No goals and no action.

I'm not really much for watching fotball though, so instead i hyped myself up for
my upcoming bb cream delivery by watching and reading reviews of the missha perfect cover bb cream during the game.

Unfortunately while on a trip to the loo i managed to drop my iphone, and the front
Went SMASH!

So right now i'm on my way to this shop that will replace it for a new splitter-free one.

At the hair salon

Right now i'm at the hair salon waiting for my hairdresser and eating chocolate easter eggs. i'm getting a haircut today, trimming the tips a bit.

Sushi break!

Right now i'm at a small suhi restaurant in central örebro eating a bit of sushi before returning to stockholm. The sushi i so-so and the price is also so-so. I really shouldn't eat sushi in örebro haha there's just not any quality sushi at a good price here ;)

New jeans

So i actually bought two new jeans, both of them size 38(european size), and both of them from the same brand (rainbow) yet for some reason only one of the two pairs fit. The cargo-styled jeans were unfortunately way too big and the smaller size is already sold out so there's not much i can do.

But at least i got these jeans and they snug fabulously around my bum so i really like them :)

They're stretch though, and it's a new brand so i'm still quality checking them, but so far so good!

Butt lifting in process

So today i have another day of practical work with the ninth graders, but not until after lunch, so i had the time to start the day with a short but intensive workout with the poworkout app.

I can't say i've been very diligent with the work out this week. In fact my diet as well as my workout has pretty much been put to halt. I was going to take a paus when i reached my 5 kilo goal, but this month when i've been at my parents house and in stockholm a lot i found it hard to focus on the task. So, since it's like this and i also have a break from studying one mpre week, i've decided to take the break now until i everything returns to normal in the beginning of april.
I'm after all only 1,5kg from the first goal and i'm not in a hurry :)

LOVE backpack

I've been needing a new backpack for a while now, and I've searched site after site, trying to find a cute yet functional backpack for everyday wear. Then for some reason I thought "okay, I've searched all the asian and european sites, what's left?" and then ebay came to mind. So, I found the cutest backpack, it seemed kinda functional too, so I bought it. And it arrived yesterday - and I LOVE it!

As you can see on the pictures it has the large front pockets and is a pretty bag overall which makes it good for school and everyday use when I travel so much, but at the same time it has a lot of cute details, like the bow, the lace and the different fabrics which makes me love it to bits!

It also seems to be pretty well sown, but time will tell if it's a good enough quality buy.

Alone time

I got two packages yesterday from the post office <3 I'm going to show you what's inside later. But now, I'm just going to slack. I'm going to have a nice day alone in front of the computer just watching series, playing the sims and reading manga. It feels like forever since I had a minute alone after being at my parents house for a few weeks, so I really need it :)

So you all remember that I said I filmed parts of the burlesque shows at the rockabilly party this weekend? Well, now I've finally managed to upload them in one video to videofy me (it took a lot of damn effort for some reason. The app just didn't want to work, so I had to upload the video to my computer via dropbox and then go through the videofy me website)

No battery

Okay so when I got back to Örebro last night I tried to charge my phone. Especially since I wanred to put up those burlesque videos I shot at the rockabilly party. But apparently I forgot to take my iphone charger with mefrom stockholm, and now, my phone is dead. I'm into town to buy myself a new charger, and then I can finally access my photos and videos again. Until then, you'll just have to stay in radio silence for a few hours.

So as you already know on saturday after saying bye bye to robert at the airport i went to meet up with sweet camilla and her bf unicorn (his name is actually charlie. You know as in charlie the unicorn on youtube who gets his kidney stolen? Get it?)

It was time for my first rockabilly party! I had no idea what o expect, but i was indeed pleasantly surprised! So here's a gigantic photo bomb of the evening! (It was pretty dark in there so try not to mind the poor quality of the photos)

There were also a few burlesque shows during the night, and I actually filmed those. I will be putting up a video of it as soon as I manage to upload it to videofy me.

Trying out the BB creme craze

So there's a bb-creme craze going on, so I did some research on the net to try and find the best bb creme for an affordable price. What I found was that most people recommended buying real korean BB cream as it not only moisturizes and covers like a foundation, but also looks more natural, has high SPF and even helps with minimizing pores, acne and post-acne scars. It seems like the korean version is more of a miracle product, while the americanized version is more like a tinted moisturizer.

I have no experience with western bb creme, but I usually find that when it comes to beauty products the asian ones are better, so I decided to order a korean bb creme.

After a little research I decided on a really popular bb creme brand called Missha. In difference to many other korean bb creme's it actually has different shades to choose from, and since I am so fair (or rather - pale haha!) I went for the lightest shade (no 13).

I ordered mine from ebay, so it will probably arrive in a few weeks and then I will of course give you a review!

it's FOUR frickin' layers!

I'm back from my fika with Camilla. We ended up sharing a HUUUUGE piece of carrot cake. (it was four layers!!). It was delicious of course, but I'm so full! I have no idea how I will handle eating dinner with my family now haha!

The morning after

Good morning people says the tired girl with the bedhair. Yes, I'm very tired.

Yesterday I went out with my dear friend Camilla and her boyfriend Unicorn to a rocakbilly club. It was so fun! We dressed up kinda of rockabilly style, watched burlesque shows, listened to great music, danced bugg and swing and just had a great time.

I took a lot of pictures and have a few videos of the burlesque shows and dancers, so I will upload them as I go. But for now, I'm getting breakfast ready before I meet up with camilla again for a little fika.

Enjoying my luck

The other day I got a necklace from my sweetheart with a little irish luck in it. And I really like it. Since I also had make up on for once, I had some fun with playing around with the iphone camera.

It really is bad quality on the front camera of the Iphone 4. I need to get myself a new phone haha! No, but really I can't wait 'til I buy myself the new camera I've been drooling over! It will take amazing photos :)
